We drove over 200 miles on a cold, windy afternoon to watch our grandson do his favorite thing, play football.  We climbed higher and higher on the bleachers in order to have the best view.  The higher we climbed, the colder it was.  For the great love of this wonderful grandson, I endured the chilling wind and hard climb.  The reward, was the gratification of watching this fine young man play the game in a manner that made me so proud.  I'm not a football fan.  But I know enough to tell when a player is doing his very best, and my grandson did just that.  The outcome of the game?  Who cares? The honor of being there to 'root' for my favorite player was beyond any reward I ever anticipated.  I will forever 'be there' to encourage those who dare to play the game and play it to the best of their ability.  Grandma Margie
